    For god sake how can you compare any other club with your clubs failures.
    Grow a pair and except your punishment and help your club rebuild with positive support this season.

    This really does sound like the last desperate throw of the dice.
    And if this clown Birch did not know who the 2010 creditors were then was he possibly know
    what percentage had responded.
    It gets more laughable by the minute

    We were £20m in debt, because of the stadium.

    You are £150m+ in debt and have written off everything.

    I don't believe I claimed anything of the sort.

    But we paid our debts. Pompey have spat in their creditors' faces twice now.

    How does that square with the football creditors rule? the FL have staunchly defended it at every turn. will they allow the club to reduce their footballing debt?

    Why are the secured creditors the league's problem? They are meddling in that.

    Seems they can piss about with anything they like holding the golden share to ransom.

    Just out of interest, do you buy fair trade?

    Also, Southampton went into administration and the only reason they didn't write off the debts they owed was due to the fact they they happened to get a billionaire owner who's willing to pay them off in full, not every club can be so lucky.

    I understand fully, why some Southampton fans take the Mickey now. Let's not forget that on the Beeb, quite a few Pompey fans were doing the same, when the boot was on the other foot. But we had been in admin ourselves long before that, so really those fans shouldn't have done it.

    Two (or however many it is) wrongs, don't make a right.

    I've always found "Two wrongs don't make a right" to be a particularly naive statement. Wanting payback, and being happy when you get it, is part of human nature.

    Few rumours on other fans forums (not Saints related) that there will be an announcement on Tuesday.

    There's a 7 day notice period and that is to apparently be the day the announcement is made, and for it to officially happen on the 1st.
