Just watched the final series there on Sky+ and feel the need to congratulate Channel 4 and Niall Ferguson on a great tv programme. It's a real eye opener for those who decry the old European empires, those who support high taxation and state monopolies. Anyone else see it?
Thought it was a bit patronising and simplistic to be honest. All that crap about killer apps was annoying too. Unfortunately, I got a bit bored with the last episode and didn't really take it all in.
I remember being 17/18 and rather than sniffin, I (in error) snorted a bit of the actual liquid, and I have never been off my tits more, probably the funniest (and slightly concerning) 5 minutes of my life.
We used to dip a (unlit) cigarette in a bottle of poppers and draw it in that way. Once tried it while on acid. BAD IDEA!
On that, people used to say when i was 18/19 that they were nothing like the "old days", I assume the late eighties, and I used to think they were just talking ****e, but I've dropped a few in the last 3 or 4 years (I am now 30), and feel the same now as they did then, so, has the MDMA content really lessened, or it it your body building its resistance? Completely off-topic I apologise. Also, I really fancy Adele. At least Stella keeps its ferocity
dont know and dont care tbh molti , i had my fun thats all i cared about 3 fridays ago p.s. who the **** is adele ?
The fat singer, as I get older I dislike fatties less and less, it's a bit odd to be honest. Lasses at work I would not have looked twice at 5 year ago are becoming Elle Mcphereson before my very eyes, 18 stone or not
Tsk, ok name a fat singer then, I think I narrowed it down quite well, it's not going to be Subo (honest) Or Mcmanus is it? Adele.
