I also have the 'Unlimited' internet with T Mobile, although it does have a fair use policy. They once sent me a text informing me that streaming/downloading is suspended until the next month because I'd reached the 'unlimited' limit? That was when I was watching alot of content from netflix, at least there weren't any added data charges though. And as you mentioned, emailing and browsing isn't affected.
Netflix is ****, cancelled it after the 30 day free trial, not worth the £5.99 per month. Lovefilm is better!
Yeah, I've had netflix for 6 months and still the film selection is poor, but the TV content and streaming quality are excellent. I'll give Lovefilm a try, Amazon have sent me a £25 content voucher so nothing to lose.
TV content was a redeeming feature for Netflix, Lovefilm is just as good for streaming quality, but much better for film content. New titles will cost you to stream though, so I just signed up for the £7.99 unlimited streaming with unlimited films one disk at a time, if it costs to stream then I just have them post it out, its usually there within a day anyways.
That sounds like a good deal, I was signed up to the Amazon DVD postal service a good few years ago(before it was Lovefilm) but got bored with it. I prefer the streaming option because you have more choice, and the dog can't chew the disc's that way
Because that site you mention, like all the dodgy streaming sites, bombards you with ads, requires you to install risky plugins and the quality of the stream is usually piss poor! please log in to view this image Besides, we're not all freeloaders and don't mind paying a few quid a month.
I had the free trial of lovefilm through the xbox and it was ****e!!! Hardly any films on it I'm on the free trial for netflix just now
Maybe streaming only is, if you pay the £7.99 to get discs then you can watch more stuff on the stream (dunno why, seems to block certain things unless you take their disks as well). So I'm working my way through a load of free streams just now, and have Rampart on the way, having just returned J Edgar
