There's already games scheduled for the 12.45pm and 5.30pm slots and Fulham will be at home that day as well. Dealing with 18,000 fans within a 2.5 mile radius is bad enough but throw in another 25,000 and it becomes unmanageable. Much better to have the Fulham game kick off at the same time and get fans in and out of West London as quick as possible. That alone is why I'm 100% sure it will be 3pm. People were saying the same things re: Policing and pubs for Sol Campbell's first game back at WHL but nothing happened
Do you have a problem with me? Other than not agreeing with Hammersmith, who you seem keen to kiss the arse of, I don't see why you feel the need to denigrate my posts on multiple threads. It's a bit pointless.
correct me if im wrong , but im sure about 10 yrs ago qpr took around 6,000 to 7,000 fans to old trafford , for a fa cup replay . i was there for the midweek game .
We played there in 2008 or 2009 in the League Cup, the round after beating Villa away but took nothing like 6000- more like 2500-3000 from memory. I don't recall a midweek FA cup game there in the last 15 years.
To be fair tickets were a rip off and tickets were released on what is traditionally the poorest week of the year for many (3rd week in January) I can understand why many opted out
I have a browse through all the threads to catch up on latest gossip etc, its just I cant believe this one's sailing up to 100 posts!!
