Was talking about it on another thread but I do find it hard to explain why Villa dislike us so much!
Being European Champions does give us the right to be superior over the Channel 5 brigade me thinks!! Spurs and Liverpool because they are by far the most deluded bunch of fans in the world.
Sorry, but it has to be Chelsea... You can respect United, but not Chelsea, really. Nearly as bad in terms of fans as United are... But, of course, there are always exceptions and every club has its idiots... Some decent Chelsea fans on here for instance (and some bad ones ).
Its close between liverpool and spuds. I generally get on with most United fans, there are even some arsenal fans I have time for but liverpool, spuds: forget it. Its a close call but I have to give it to the scousers. Its the holier-than-thou attitude and belief they are beyond reproach. They like to dish it out but they sure can't take it.
As a 'foreign' supported of an EPL club, I'm not caught up in the local rivalry aspect, but am required by a strange default to dislike Arsenal and Chelsea. But that aside, I'll always applaud and appreciate good football even if it's produced by a rival club. Who couldn't grudgingly admire the Arsenal team from 10 years ago, even you guys from 6-7 years ago were playing some tasty football. Last season Swansea and Newcastle turned in some great performances that were great to watch. If I'm lucky, I'll get to see a good regional league match down the local park this Sunday.
How cute That's another reason I dislike Spurs. The bitterness from the fans and obsessive nature. Don't get me wrong I don't like Spurs, West Ham or Arsenal but the day won't come where I take more pleasure in a Spurs loss than a Chelsea win. Seeing Arsenal/Chelsea/West Ham struggle for many is more important than Spurs doing well. Having remembered the cocky odious fans giving it large in December nothing made me happier than to see them not qualify for the CL after we'd won it. Also the hypocrisy from their idiotic fans. Their double winning team in 61 cost twice as much as anyone else's, they were the first club to float shares on the stock exchange and also the main instigators in the formation of a breakaway league (PL) yet have the audacity to cry foul game when things go against them. If you live by greed you die by greed
