Unless there are 1 or 2 departures on the cards? Bramble and Killgallon look very vulnerable to me and could easily make way, as could Turner who is linked again with Hull City? Collins is no mug and would be a big monster at centre half and more mobile than Turner
I'd like Collins with the caveat that two are leaving, preferably Bramble and Turner. If two aren't leaving I just don't see the point!!!
Better than Turner, but not much of an improvement on Bramble, assuming Titus's head is on straight. Good solid player though.
He is only 28, I thought he was in his early 30`s so why not, he has his best years ahead of him. And look at the last few seasons, we have been ravaged by injuries at center back, so i dont see why not. Turner and Killy are 28 as well, but i would say Collins has a lot more experience than both of those put together.
What's the chances of that Cest !!!! http://www.rokerreport.com/2012/7/1...lon-to-blackburn-with-james-collins-coming-in
Can Collins play striker role as well? Because with all these C/B we have, perhaps our ploy is to play them as makeshift striker's, to save money.
Maybe our cover will not be the cover we think we have. It normally takes 18 months for a manager to change the majority of his first 11. I can see a clear out. Turner, Bramble, Richardson, Killy, might even get rid of O's**te too...
Am I alone in thinking O'Shea is a classy centre half? I'd be delighted to see him there all season persoanlly with Brown?
