We will not get any answers, Hayes is not known for being upfront and honest with fans, so are we going to hear about why it happened - no. Will we have Brownie as assistant manager for next season - watch this space, cos i am sure it is a damn good step-up for him from watching u16's/u18's
Just who the F*CK does Hayes think he is? He's no right to not say anything! We pay the wages of the person who has jsut resigned - I'm not for one minute saying he shouldn't have left, whatever has happened was serious enough for him to go - but Hayes, you've got to treat the fans with a bit more respect, at least enough to treat them like what they are - i.e. your wage payers. It stinks, it really does. If he carries on at the helm, the club is destined for disaster, no matter how good our manager or assistant manager is. Rotten.
steve hayes is a law to himself, unfortunately he does what he wants when he wants and how he wants and to hell with anyone else,at least the people of high wycombe are waking up to the fact that we dont need or want a white elephant stadium and the local elections will upset some of his yes men and women when they dont get elected.
I know a bit about Martin Kuhl's past and he is prone to some really evil stunts. In his playing career he signed permanently for Watford in Sept 1988 and lasted a month because "something happened". In Garry Nelson's book "left foot forward" it describes an incidenet where a Kuhl tackle broke a player's leg. Kuhl towered over the player, who was in agony, bent down and spat in his face. I think its fair to say that when it "kicks off" with Kuhl, he can go well over the top. You will find Steve Hayes is unable to comment on this incident as it may well go legal. You may have your problems with Hayes, but I would say you are better off without Kuhl.
BFP says alleged altercation with a player on the team coach, he had to resign or he would be sacked due to club policy!
The timing of this is terrible and Waddock and the team need to be even more focused now. Time will tell if this is a good thing or not, we don't know what things are like in the camp and it could be that Kuhl going will benefit some players if they didn't have a good relationship with him. I want to know what exactly happened, but maybe keeping it under wraps until the end of the season rather than dragging it all out in public will benefit the players more for the run-in. Who knows, I'm keeping an open mind for now though. Brownie or Rhino coming in will be great for us fans, but I'd prefer Waddock to choose someone himself. Ainsworth as player/coach would be excellent too.
Wandermagic - you are right, if all the posts above are true and he's that much of a dark horse then this shouldn't come out til the end of the season.
