So a lot Arsenal fans are becoming disillusioned with Walcott. They want to see Oxo more often, and improve.

It seems like Walcott has hit a dead end at Arsenal, he can't really move forward there, he should move on.

I think he'd be fantastic for when we play our 4-3-3 football.

He's probably the fastest player in the world over a short distance, he's a good finisher.

It would be great having Ben Arfa cutting in from the right on his left foot, and Walcott cutting in from the left on his right foot. But players are good finishers.

Walcott would be deadly as part of our counter attack and certainly would suit the LW role more than a striker playing out of position would.

We have Marveaux, but I think it would be great if we could have another quality option.

Especially since we have a **** load of games.

He signed his last contract with Arsenal when he was like 19 years old, so I doubt he'll be on silly wages, and I think we could get him for a decent price.

He's still a young player, and has developing to do, he'd fit into our set up. And he's not exactly one of those VERY over rated English players that would cost 25 million.

I think we could get him for like 7-8 mil.

    Imagine -

    Walcott-------Cisse-------Ben Arfa----

    -------------Cabaye-----------------

    -----Jonas-----------Tiote----------

    Santon---Colo-----Saylor-----Debuchy-----

    --------------Krul------------------

It would be very attack minded wings we'd have, maybe a little bit exposed, but we have our DM's there to cover.

Don't take this line up completely literally. It could work with different players at different times, but you get the general idea.

Good player, so if the prices and wages were fine then yes I would, seems to be a scapegoat a lot of the time at Arsenal, think he needs to move on.

Would be a good signing but suspect his wages and fee would price us out. isn't he also linked to Liverpool?

He's a good finisher! haha since when?

His career highlights would be a load of blisteringly fast runs past a bunch of lame left backs finished off with a tame shot to nothing.

If Lucas Moura is worth £30m I'd value Walcott at about £2.5m

Would love him but there is absolutely no chance of us getting him. Can't believe so many people think he's rubbish.

He's not rubbish but he doesn't have the brain to ever be a top class player. The physical talent is there, but the brainpower to fully utilize it isn't. It's the same with Obertan really.

His footballing brain is about 10x the size of Obertans.

Not at present and to be honest probably not ever. He did show some signs last season that he was finally beginning to develop. I'm not sure how many he actually contributed but I'd imagine his assists total was the best since arriving at Arsenal. I'm just still not convinced the lad has a footballing brain. I wouldn't label him in the Obertan category, but their problem is similar, just different degrees.

With the way we play, possession being key, I think we need more what I'd class as "natural" footballers.

Pretty decent to be fair. To me he's a striker who needs to play through the middle, probably off a big lad. Could he score enough goals to justify that role? Maybe not but I'd find it more palatable than him running down the blind alleys he does at present. I wouldn't be devastated if we signed him, but I prefer players with a bit more culture about their game. In his defence he is still relatively young.

I think he's got ability. I wouldn't play him as a wide player. Up the middle just off the main striker, then watch him go.

Can't see anybody shelling out £12m for him.

Much prefer Walcott as an option to Carroll, because I think he would actually be the "different option" people throw erroneously around in connection with Andy Carroll. Think Wenger has ruined his early career in the weird rush to turn quick forward players into wingers or central midfielders during the "reverse Henry" stage of the premier league, and he would benefit from a move and change of position. Smith was destroyed as a footballer in similar circumstances at Man Utd, though obviously the leg-break didn't help.

Doubt it would ever happen, because we won't pay the wages other people would for him, nevermind any vastly inflated fee Arsenal would want.

Theo Walcott needs to be playing as a striker these days - he is ****e as a winger and needs to start beefing up his physique now.

He's done his time as a winger and should now look to move to a club who will play him as a striker - that's not us.

PSG would be his best bet, he can play off Ibrahimovic and become a 'froggy' legend.

    Cool story eh? <cool>

I think he has a year left on his contract so maybe he could also go for a low transfer fee if he refuses to sign a new contract, which he says he will if arsenal sell RVP. dont know what sort of money he is on
