    Now Debuchy has admitted we are his priority club to move to and has urged his current club (Lille) to get their act together and sort out a move to Newcastle.

    Aye he sounds a bit miffed by it all if those quotes attirbuted to him are true. He is trying to be diplomatic but reading between the lines he feels they are being greedy.

    I've seen worse from players "I'm being held against my will" "I feel victimised by the chairman" and so on. A certain Ben Arfa was a whole lot less diplomatic when he wanted a move!

    Aye that one word changes the whole heartfelt meaning of that sentence. To be fair he has tried the "I'm interested in seeing what is on offer, but I'm happy at Lille" approach. The next stage is the "**** Lille, I'm boarding a plane to Newcastle tonight. I'm on strike" approach!

    They should all be this honest, it would really **** the papers off for a start! I think you'll struggle to beat the Spurs left back in that regard. First of all his comments about playing for the shirt and kissing badges, saying he never would and its about money. Then laterly he has said he may leave Spurs this summer for a CL club. I think he added something like "Spain, France, Germany, Italy, I don't care, the grass is green everywhere!" Classic. I like the lad in terms of his brutal honesty. Sure it takes away some of romance of players loving clubs etc but at the end of the day its the truth.
