Different breakfasts are called different things as well:

Beans on toast - English breakfast
Toast on beans - Australian breakfast
Spagetti on toast - Italian breakfast
Sheep on toast - Welsh breakfast
Burger on toast - American breakfast
    2 paracetamol - Scottish breakfast

Brunch is for people who get up too late for breakfast, but are hungry before lunch.

    Happy now.

The Gogledd meal guide is always here to help.

Next time you fancy a bit of bedroom gymnastics, ask her if she wants a stottie. When she replies "a big roll?" you can take her up on her kind offer!!

Would say it depends on what you eat with the meals, personally I'd say for me it was.
    Breakfast (If I bother)
    Lunch
    Dinner (Cooked Meal)
    Supper.

However if you have a cooked meal at 12 or 1, then thats dinner and would generally be tea.

There's only one real proper format, but people just use different names:

    Breakfast
    Lunch
    Dinner
    Supper

Some people call lunch 'dinner' (mostly from the North East) and call dinner 'tea', as so:

    Breakfast
    Dinner
    Tea
    Supper

Tea used to mean afternoon tea, but now it's synonymous with a meal, which is why your ma would say 'come n get yer tea son'.

However, dinner is more appropriate if you're going out for an evening meal at a restaurant.

    Fact.
