I know you are not a fool Cest but how many times do I have to explain the same thing. Bruce, I did criticise Bruce and had no problem with you or anyone else calling for his head. It was the, IMO, silly abuse I complained about and the ridiculous he threw the derby games to please his family. I did prefer Hughes, no shame in that but I also back MON, 100% but that does not mean I follow blindly. I am not excited by the lack of signings or the names being linked, I do know the names linked and who we bring in may well be miles apart but I am underwhelmed, that's just me being honest. And finally Cest, why is it always you who reads my post and decides to turn it into a Bruce v MON fight, now that is pathetic. You are far from being the only Sunderland fan with an opinion Cest.
It's all comparative really. We trust MoN as a great manager and at the same time are encouraged by Short's words that he wants to sign a few quality players. At the same time, we see clubs that are in comparative positions to ours (or worse) reinforcing their squads and getting stronger, while we are standing still. It's just nervousness and restlessness. We all hope we will have made some cracking signings by the end of the window and if we have we'll all be happy. It's just that we haven't - yet - so comparatively we're in a weaker position than teams strengthening. We all want SAFC to improve and so nerves are to be expected. Just a matter of wait-and-see.
Syd. You were extremely critical of my stance on Bruce so I find your current stance on Mon, before he has even had a chance to bring in anyone, extremely hypocritical to say the least. You are always first to take the so called moral high ground with others but also always first to cry badly done to when others point your double standards. I can dare bet that had your choice Hughes got the job, you would be on here telling everyone with your arguments over Mon to calm down and stay off his back. Rank hypocrisy. As for being a fool, it comes as part of the deal with nearly 40 years behind me as a Sunderland fan. Foolish folly indeed.
I think there's a difference between saying you wish someone would show more urgency in the transfer market, and being so blinkered that you claim your manager is throwing the derbies to keep his family happy Hilarious.
Never know lads we might have the dreaded "third season syndrome" this season and you will achieve you main goal of finishing above us in the league
When Krul, Tiote, Colla, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa and Cabaye all leave us and we bring in no one else to fill their spots, we're going to struggle to match the might of...errrr...Leee Cattermole and Titus Bramble?
I noticed you had to edit that post, my question is how bad must it have been the first time, considering the edited version is absolutel drivel. good one marra.
I think MON is the man to take us on, I did fancy Hughes as he is younger with just as much Premier League experience MON, however I did honestly doubt MON would come to us, hence I leaned towards Hughes. I do not believe Syd would wish to see MON fail just to further his own self value, however we seem to see plenty crowing on about Bruce's demise to advance theirs. Time to let the past lie and stop dredging it up to settle current debates eh lads unless its 9-1 perhaps.
Sad, barcode Bitch No.1 infesting the Sunderland board once again. You pathetic sad ****wit of a loser.
agree Cest, these ****ing gormless black and white ****s do not get it, just go to t heir own ****ing bitching board and ****ing stay there. They do the best impression of terminal brain death I have ever seen.
