We weren't cruising for win against arsenal. We didn't score! Was 0-0 at time of Vorm's mistake

    Favourite player Tony Millington

Most memorable moment first game I saw at the Vetch. Against Scunthorpe, Kevin Keegan was playing for them if I remember correctly ...

Cheers, Phil. I was very friendly with the late Norman Lawson, ex Swan's full back. We were briefly in business together and we did our FAW coaching course together as well, which I have chatted about before. I seem to remember him saying that he was married to one of Cliffy's sisters at the time.

Life can be incredibly coincidental. Norman and I had gone our separate ways many years before and not set eyes on each other. Then one day I had to meet a friend who was flying into Malaga airport. The official car park was a pain so I opted to park illegally right outside the terminal exit. I pulled up behind another car whose driver was doing the same. I climbed out of the car to stretch my legs as had the other driver. I glanced over and it was Norman!! We chewed the breeze, swapped phone numbers but that was the last time we ever met.

Back to Cliff. I remember being totally enthralled with his performances when I was a young kid at the Vetch. When he was transferred to Spurs I made a point of following his career. What a player! Undoubtedly he would be a superstar of mega proportions had he been playing today. What a forward line we had then because he lined up with Ivor, Len, Mel Charles and Terry Medwin. What price that lot today?

My fav player is the great Robbie James, what a player.

Stand out goals, Gary Stanley, a Max Thompson volley & Keith Walker scoring against Cardiff away support banned and me in the main stand cheering with about a dozen Swans fans dotted around, then realising that might not have been a good decision.

Watched this game in the Kop end surrounded by scouser skin heads, didn't once open our mouths as we watched the Swans get a 2-2 draw, always felt the ref was harsh on giving Liverpool the second penalty, we played them off the park back then too! Had to sneak into the Kop as 4000 Jacks turned up, but only 2000 were let in................

But for me the greatest game I have ever attended as a Swans fan was this game, it has eclipsed all that went before! The player of the match for me was Steven Dobbie, scored one, set up Sinclair's first, great game........<cheers>

100% Phil, This is the best game i have ever attended. A full Wembley, 46000 Jacks singing their hearts out, 3 - 0 half time. 10 mins later 3 - 2. monks toe keeping the ball out. Then the penalty, scotty slots it away and i still didnt believ we were up. I think about 2 mins in to injury time i finally believed. I have never felt emotions like it before and to be honest dont think it was that enjoyable up until the last minute and the celebrations after. A day that i will always have with me and my son. A day that i will never ever forget along with every single jack around the world.
