Douglas set for Russia as Toon look to Cheikhou Kouyate

    Rumors are ripe that FC Twente are set to sell Douglas to a Russian side and Pardew and co are set to turn to Anderlecht's 22 year old Senegal international Chiekhou Kouyate. Kouyate has had scouts from Man City and Arsenal watching him aswell as Chelsea so he's highly thought of and would be good competition to Steve Taylor and I suspect his attitude is better than Douglas' also.

    Can people PLEASE post a source for their information. It's annoying when people post articles, saying it's "rumoured" but with no source.

    Cheikhou Kouyate is CDM btw.

    On Fifa he has a sprint speed of 96, which is one of the fastest in the game. So If he's this quick in real life, and he's 6ft 3, he must be quite a physical force.

    I don't take Fifa too seriously, but player stats are usually based on how Fifa see them in real life. Good ****.

    Stats normally accurate, positions less so. Eg. Perch was down as a CDM the season he signed, Messi was RW right until FIFA 12. He may have played CDM a few years ago, but he's probably changed to CB now.
