RV: Good day to you! On football, know you don't give a flying **** about QPR but was looking at their current roster. Have they overdone it? There are some damn good players there who will hardly get a sniff of the ball? Would this be true about NUFC and other Premier League squads? Guess Stick will put me right about QPR in due course! (P.S. Did notice that your 'favourite' goalie, Paddy Kenny, has gone to Leeds I believe. Better watch the Rustler Burgers? please log in to view this image ).
Morning folks, this terrible weather is ruining the racing at the mo, even tho i'm doing okay recently it's just so irritating dealing with all these non-runners and basically looking for a plough horse. Quite fancy Reply today for aidan and the boy, but the way it's tipping it down here means that if it's like this in newmarket anything could win. Last time there was soft in the going for the july cup, only good to soft then mind, the first three were 22-1, 40-1 and 40-1 so it may pay to play the big prices. Or it may not. Also backed Motivado for what SBC would call that old rogue Sir Mark Prescott in the John Smith's. Will also be sure to back a lot of donkeys as i while away the afternoon. Good luck all.
Ardmay in the 32Red my one pick today, decent price at 10/1. Fav is def a lay for me in that one. Though given my for from the last 2 days the fav will probably romp home!
A couple of fancies from me today so you know what to avoid like the plague given the form im in at the moment! 4.55 Newbury Arnold Lane Clearly held in high regard having been given some tough tests including in group 1 company last time out. This time he is in much lesser company with only producer seemingly a danger. Arnold Lane however receives 10lbs from producer who also has never won away from epsom so arnold lane rates a good bet in my opinion. 2.25 York Suraj (NAP) I rate this horse highly and think he could well make into a leger horse over this trip. Won very impressively last time out in a small field event against other promising types and clearly still has plenty of improvement left. In to much tougher company today tackling older horses but gets in off a feather weight of 8-2, will handle conditions and i think has a major chance today Im avoiding newmarket today due to the quite frankly ludicrous amount of non runners that is turning the whole july festival into a bit of a farce in my opinion and is exactly why i am starting to fall out of love with flat racing!
Got home at 5. It was frickin daylight. Anyone tipped up Never Can Tell? Big price for me. No write up but return to good ground (if York is good as the RP says) could help. E/w sniffer.
Sirius Prospect for the July cup. Hurricane Higgins WILL show his true colours one day.....the brute owes me a good few quid now, but today could be the day he pops up...as he will sooner or later....you have been warned. Stick, by the way....you mentioned I might find the Black sea interesting. Was only on the ship 2 days and got rerouted to Syrian waters to go find the bodies of the 2 Turkish pilots and the wreckage of their fighter jet. Job done....off Sinop now....hope to be heading home next week sometime....got a better job lined up in the North sea....had enough of Yanks already...and as for Bob Ballard...what a total "head up arse" obnoxious twat!!! Good luck all!!!
Feeling fresh now - loving it and ready to smash the bookies up today. Swanny - Newcastle will be fine we haven't got a massive squad and we have the right players coming through. As for QPR they are a mess
Mijhaar surely can win today running off the same mark as last time in the 3:00 at York, think it should be hard to beat.
