    Mean nothing really?

It's all about fitness and blending in new players, but obviously it's better to win them, for a bit of confidence.

Just watched Man City lose their first one to some Arab team, plus i hear the Mags lost last night to some German third division team, albeit with a very weak team...

So how would you prefer pre-season to go?

with our 4/5 new players hitting the ground running, our new strikers scoring but it looks like it may not go that way.

I dont think winning pre-season games mean much, its always nice to win, but I'd rather win when the season starts for real

Pre season like you say is about the players fitness levels and tactics, we lose a couple and we draw a couple as long as we do win a couple as well all is right with the world. I personally don't read too much into pre season unless it is a total disaster with players injured and the team getting beat 4/5 zip all the time, then it would be time to worry.
