Leeds have apparently just had a £200k bid turned down for Rudolph Austin, he's a Jamaican international who plays in Norway(he won Norwegian player of the year last season), they wanted £2m for him, but he's refused to sign a new contract and he's running it down now, so he's available on the cheap. He's a defensive midfielder, who's got a good shot on him, takes a decent free kick and is decent in the air. That may well now interest Reading. Would be good for Reading and drop any further interest in Koren.
Rudolph Austin does look quite decent and could be the longer term replacement for McKenna. It would be great to have a Jamaican in the team again. Definitely worth a punt if we can get him on the cheap.
