I think we can go into top half. Reasons being. No one else has got the players we have in. It's hard to think of another team that's signed anyone of note in the summer. Several teams in terminal decline and changes of management. The team we have has quality all over the place and is deep. Last year we struggled once you got any replacements in past our first 11. Am I wearing rose coloured spectacles??
Still a long way to go in the window for other teams to strengthen Ironman. Though I like our approach of getting the new ones in early.
I'd expect them to all say bottom half (with the teams that hate us or we did badly against to predict relagation battles and those we fought well against saying safety). That was easier to predict than a top or bottom half finish!!!

With the team that is being assembled - and so early in the process - I think we can finish mid table. I'd be very happy with 10th but I'll get off the fence and say 11+ so that I can hopefully enjoy the experience of under-promise/over delivery.
At the end of last seasons just 3pts separating 8th from 14th - so if we are going to compete in that area, and with the investment put in, we should be expecting to positively be above 11th...
My vote has just put it back at 50/50. If we take Mid-Table to be from 7th-14th, with 8 positions included that makes it the biggest section of the table with almost half the positions. I.E. Top 6, Mid-Table and Bottom. Mid-Table can be sub-divided into 3 sections: Upper-Mid (7th & 8th), Mid (9th-12th) and Lower-Mid (13th & 14th) Queens, your poll is ludicrous in that you've basically asked us will we finish in the top or bottom half, not taking any of that into account. That said, it has been vindicated somewhat by the neck and neck results it has thrown up so far. So there may be a method in your madness after all, ye flamin' Galah! I'm predicting a 13th placed finish, i.e Lower-Mid Table

Top 10. From 5th-15th there's not alot of difference, a good pre-season, a bit of luck and a following wind and who knows what we can achieve?
13th-15th imo. Baby steps and all that. The players we've brought in are solid improvements on what we have but not world-beaters and I still think it would be a massive coup to finish ahead of teams far more established as mid-table in this league such as Sunderland and Fulham and to be within, say, five points of perennial tenth placed teams like them would be a good position to build from for the following season.
Seems the general cocensus (with a few excetptions) is we will fin between 10th - 13th..... At lease most of us are reading the same lines.....Those that think any less than 10th would be bad, i admire your optimism but personally cant see it. although with a bit of luck and a few good results early on, anything is possible !
There should've been four realistic categories, 6-9, 10-13, 14-17, and relegation. I'd put us with our current squad 10-13, if we get say, Samba, Ki and Bellamy I'd say 6-9. But with what we have now I'd go for 12th...
Riding on the crest of this hugely positive wave we're on suggests a 6th to 10th finish... but we R QPR - there HAS to be a slip twixt cup and lip somewhere down the line, doesn't there?! Bottom half for me - but not relegation fodder.
