Ha. He lasted a while then. Maybe him and Sean Dyche can go on a boating holiday together now seen as neither of them have anything to do. Sven to Forest, now that would be funny.
Can't help feeling sorry for Dyche and Cotterill, both of whom did decent jobs last year - and will do a steady job for anyone in the Championship Will be very interesting to see what happens at Forest - obviously they have money, but it's how you spend it. Leicester went down this route last year, then when it went belly-up, they got rid of Sven and appointed Pearson who (leaving the Hull saga to one side) is the same mould as Cotterill/Dyche. How about "'arry"??
I'm glad we got Bruce before this vacancy came up. Forest will now be an attractive job for many managers.
Mentioned... Sky Sports News said he's the odds on favourite about an hour ago. Would be a bit of a bad move for Harry, moving from a top premier league team to a mid-table Championship team; because I reckon Forest will simply do what Leicester did last year.
He might be tempted by the sleeping giant part of it and a massive transfer budget, but I can't see him taking it as like you say he was managing a top four club a month or two ago. It could do far more damage than good to his CV.
When the takeover talks started the prospective owner said he would appoint the manager who got QPR promoted.
Oddschecker has a massive name as favourite, whom I'm sure we'd all have loved to see here.. Darren Ferguson
This has been on the cards a while now with both Watford and Forest getting new owners. Interesting though that One of our old threads was about predicting which managers would go first. Dyche and Cotterill were among the favourites. Thats harsh. Maybe a round or two of golf somewhere would be more appropriate ? Problem is for the new manager is that alot of players have left. Its a right old mess to sort out. Good luck to whoever though. Mad Mick has been touted about for this job for ages. However, It would blow my socks off if Harry took the job if offered it of course.
Why do people think Redknapp is a brilliant manager? What has he ever achieved, apart from bankrupting Portsmouth and getting Spurs to the heady heights of FOURTH ()
