Leeds and QPR have settled on a £400,000 fee for keeper Paddy Kenny. Is that money well spent, or should we have kept Lonnergan, and maybe have invested the money in Ward instead. Portsmouth striker Luke Varney is likely to be hot on Kenny's heels. The ex Derby and Crewe forward seems happy to wait for Leeds despite interest from other Championship clubs. Varney spoke of Leeds being "bigger" than other options and Leeds being close enough for him to see his son in Leicester. The new look team is taking shape. Anyone dare to name the starting XI against Wolves, or is it too early yet? Anybody for song of the day?

Morning all - Open minded about Kenny, what I will say is that we have more pressing positions that need filling. If we are short of funds at present I would prefer to see other targets secured, Varney, Norris and Peltier enabling them to get a full pre-season under their belts. You can bring a new keeper in at any stage and Warnock knows what to expect and what he is capable of, far more important for the outfield players to gain an understanding with each other.

Morning all. I'm with Ristac on this one. Lonners was good enough for us & for now. We don't need Kenny, & I'm certainly not sure that he's an improvement on what we've already got. Getting a little bored now re the T word. Are we sure that this isn't a massive wind up from Papa Smurf & there isn't actually either a T planned or additional funds coming into the club. I'm well aware that DD can take time & there can be sticking points along the way. But this is getting silly. Our first competitive match is about 4 weeks away & poor old Warnock still doesn't know who'll be available to him - Snoddy, White McCormack etc - & what funds he has to strengthen. Not good.

Morning All, Busy couple of months so I've not been around here much, but hasn't stopped me being frustrated by the dreaded TO talk. LUTV sent an email out about a new service yesterday and boasted the one thing I've been wanting for a few seasons, support for Mac OSX. Shame the email just reminded me that I need to cancel my account before it auto renews again. Went to the cancel page, didn't work on Mac! Ah this club just seems to exist to wind me up at the minute!!
Morning all. Hey LID, after I cancelled LUTV they sent me an email asking why, I told them I would not renew whilst Bates was in charge and asked how that made them feel, they never replied. Wonder if they will send me a reminder once Bates is gone? Hope Ben Fry ****s off as well!! Kenny works well with Colin, and he will be a positive influence in dressing room spreading the Warnock gospel.
