no one's heard of the toon outside the NE ?

    How would I contribute to that? I've got a couple of lads in Uganda wearing my Toon shirts (one of them is now a fully fledged Newcastle fan!)

    Strange that, I go to Bulgaria for my hols and whenever I have my Toon top on I frequently get asked how we're getting on. Prem league on the local tv every Sat afternoon. ( Stylian Petrov has a bar there and Berbatov frequently stays in one of the hotels there )

    Turkey is nuts for the Toon as is Morocco.
    All they know is the top 6 plus the dippers.

    Didn't all the memorabilia (shirts, scarves, caps etc) left draped over the seats in memory of Sir Bobby get sent to Uganda eventually?

    There Is a mission for seafarers in salalah which is in Oman and that have a framed toon top up in there. Most places I've been in brazil there have been people who have recognised my top. Some cheeky bastard even nicked one of my tops on the beach in brazil.

    I know a lad who lives in Greece on FB, PAOK is his hometown club (also black and white) but is also a huge NUFC fan, its great chatting to him on FB about it, get a complete different set of opinions and thoughts from people from different backgrounds.
