White Sulphur Springs...!!! Dosnt set the heart going or paint a great picture of where the players are this week but this course is pretty, but its a long one. The Old White course, which is the one they will be playing, is the course that the great Sam Snead made his home back in 1944. Snead is still the top tour winner with 82 tour victories and with Tiger Woods now in 2nd place, with 74 wins, what better place for Woods to close the gap with another win at Sam's place.

So who do we look to this week...? Well Tiger Woods tops the market at a stupid 7/2...!!! So absolutely no value what so ever, but that also means that he has tightened up the market behind him. US Open winner Webb Simpson, 16/1, Phil Mickelson, 20/1, Dustin Johnson, 20/1, Steve Stricker, 22/1 and Jim Furyk, 25/1 are all next in line and these odds would all be 5 points shorter had Tiger not won last week. Plus Tigers value would probably be around the 5-7/1 mark also...

Dustin has a chance as he is a big hitter, likewise Phil, but he is really struggling with his game at the moment. Striker isnt long enough, but off sets that with his accuracy, so again has a chance of placing. Then we have the steady as a rock Furyk, the bloke who just seems to get the job done and nearly always gaurantees a top 20 finish nearly every tournament...

But were after top 5 and a bit of value if we can...!!! But a win would be a big big Brucie...!!!

So i'm going with the following...

Brendon De Jong - His slump last week from 1st to 11th to me can be put down to playing with Tiger and all the distractions that comes with Tiger on a golf course. Plus Bo Van Pelt played well and he maybe got a little intimidated by all that. But his scoring average for this particular course is a superb 66.75, so the bloke knows the course, is obviously in a bit of form as shown last week so is worth a shot...

Brandt Snedeker - This is his first tournament back from a rib injury, which for a golfer must be very painful, for 3 months. Was entered down for the US Open but pulled out at the last minute, so with the extra 3 weeks since then i feel he will be all guns firing, hopefully, for his return...

John Rollins - With 5 top 10's this year, 4th last week, i hope to catch another good weekend off Johnnyboy here. Leads the Tour on Driving stats, 11th in birdie average and ranked 19th overall on this seasons stats... If it all clicks together he could well get among the contenders come Sunday...

Ben Curtis - Has played in 10 tournaments this year missing the cut 3 times. Of the times he has made the cut his finishing places read T14th, T1st, Won, T5th, T2nd, T34th... So if Benny boy can make the cut you might be in for a good return. He is ranked 1st in Putts Gained, 2nd on Driving Accuracy, 6th for Greens in regulation and 2nd in Scrambling stats... Another one who if it clicks it clicks well...

    Brendon De Jonge @ 35/1...
    Brandt Snedeker @ 50/1...
    John Rollins @ 66/1...
    Ben Curtis @ 66/1...

As per usual £2.5 e/w... PadPow pays 1/4 odds top 5... Good luck to any who play...<cheers>
