Execpt that thread is for *rumours* - this thread is talking about a done transfer. I'd understand if it was still paper talk, but mergeing them now is a silly idea (IMO).
I dont see whats wrong with just leaving threads about signings up? If you merge, then people just create new ones, like as happend....mods are clean freaks!
Seems as though Rangers NewcO owner is out on his own contesting the legality of 5 former Rangers players. There isn't one legal practitioer who agrees with Mr Green but Fifa may have to step in. Thoughts?
Wouldn't worry about it. Everything I've read suggests he doesn't have a leg to stand on but might as well fire just in case it comes lucky for him. It'll just delay it a bit.
Now I'm getting really exasperated. That's all I'm going to say. Any more and it might turn into an angry outburst.
Think this thread is relevant as a new factor has risen...international clearance. Rangers has a different view to everyone else. The PFA think the players are in the clear. Never happened before so may be test case. Perhaps they are hoping for some money for it to go away.
Behave yourself.......... We are only doing what you guys ask us to do at the begginning of the rumour thread and nothing more. When the first one was merged it was not far from leaving the front page. It was also expected that another transfer was likely to be announced as well.
I have noticed Hammond and he was struggling at Championship level. He lacks the ability to "show himself" and with very good young midfielders like Cork and Schneiderlin we'll need a good leader who'll always give them an outlet. Davies has the ability to do this. The Scottish registration is a diversion.
Back to Davis transfer. I believe in return for taking reduced wages, a low value was placed on them with an agreement that they could go if that minimum was reached. Best case scenario our deal is ratified. Worst case scenario Saints have to cough up a bargain price for Davis. In either case, he will stay here. The deal that Davis and other players signed may not include any mention of transferring to newco, so may be cancelled by the demise of Rangers.
Pretty much. Of course it only applied to the old Rangers. Green can try and argue all he wants, but the rules are against him on this one and he knows it. Besides, blocking the paperwork formality of international clearance is not the right way to object to a transfer. I imagine Nicola worried about this for around five nanoseconds before moving on.
