Have I got tinnitus or is the sound on this atrocious? Have to say expected a bit more, but no complaints.
I think the idea was to get all the far east reporters in, that way introducing us to that market and let them know that Man Utd are not the only English football club. Lets hope it works
Well done RTID great and very subtle bit of ITK work on Park. I'm giving up on this, can't understand a thing.
TF posted on twitter this morning "QPR fans. We are not ready to announce stadium. But making good progress. I shall update on twitter. Will not be a bowl. Will keep the atmosphere. Will be 45k capacity. Will be in West London. Narrowed down to 2 places. I hope we can announce full details within the next 2 months."
Someone just asked MH how he would utilise Park on the pitch. As he replied Tony and Park were sharing a joke and laughing. I think Tony must have said to him "In Joey's position".
I hope not, he looked bad when played in CM, hes a wide player although it would have been great if Tony said it.
Cheers ffs, that'll be my ITK for the next 20 years but an enjoyable moment nevertheless. Realised afterwards that I should have been down to Paddy Power but maybe that's insider knowledge that might have got me in trouble!! The sound could have been sorted with a roving mic.
The photos of Park signing are now on the offy. He has a plaster on each arm. He either just had some blood tests or ........ Hope he's not a friend of Robbie Fowler's.
You sort of have to question the clubs PR. The world knows about the signing for a several days but the club still proceeds with an undisclosed topic for the press conference. Once the cat's out of the bag, why not just say hey, we have a press conference about the cat on Monday
Spot on Goldie. Pleased though I am that Park has signed, I'd hardly describe it as us "going global". A decent bit of business at 2 million, sure, but I'm not sure it quite justifies all the hype, especially when everyone knew about it last week. Odd.
Look out for a new sponsor of the stadium. From 2014 QPR will play at "The Nicorette Patch" in West London.
This is all part of trying to introduce QPR to the far east . Apparently there were over 40k people watching that stream. That was all for the Korean Press really. Bit sceptical about a 45k stadium. We've suddenly got to find another 20k home supporters . Would be hoping that a 35k stadium for now with potential to build. surely would make more sense.
