It will be interesting to see how many posters we have on our board once we go global today. How many active posters do we have at the moment? Goodbye my exclusive little club. Things will never ever be the same again. # becarefulforwhatyouwishfor.
I could get my brother in to do some translation - degree in Mandarin and up to approx A-level in Korean. I should think there's about 100 active users on here with a further 200 who pop in from time to time. There's also Swords who's an overactive user.
All I wanted was my Rangers back. Now we have it, imagine what it will be like in five years time? Whatever happens....
This will be to do with Tony's oh so quoted article in the Sun (needs re-posting - I haven't seen it for a whole day) that says that the press conference today will unveil a new global era for the club (I might be paraphrasing/exagerating).
Let them come....more fans = more money = more success......its time to leave the old poor QPR in its tin house behind and welcome the new Shiny QPR with open arms!
The world will always have plastics, and therefore plastic haters. Money can help buy success but loyalty is priceless......... if times get tough, we will still be there.
Erm... 'poor old QPR' has a fantastic tradition of good football and punching well above its weight for a small club. In the last 60 years it's really only the 1995-2005 decade where that was not the case. Yes, I welcome our new era with open arms but like TF let's please not forget our history and tradition.
Never said forget it......and yes I know the old QPR very well....I've been watching them for the last 20 years...im just chuffed the new QPR is coming about and I can watch QPR actually win something and become a force in football. The loyal fan base will always remain and that soul will never be forgotten.
I too have asked this question, but nothing is done. It's clear that we are careering recklessly into a skinflap of the space/time continuum, where 'that which is and that which was, apart intrinsic stand', and Hoilett, Samba and Jarvis come tumbling after.
Lol. Personally, I am happy to wait the extra few minutes to find out what Sword's latest tirade is about rather than witnessing it all as some Red Dwarf style future-echo.
I wonder whether one of the mods can tell us how many active members we have? Also Swords and Imaz, the 'global' comment has been made by TF himself, and is reiterated on the Offish in its article promoting the link to today's news conference: "The announcement will put the QPR brand on a global scale and is further demonstration of the Board's continuing efforts to move the Club forward and become established in the Barclays Premier League."
