    This has been mentioned before, Breezy. He had an excellent Euro tournament but ivor pointed out his club track record isn't that great. Could be we're linked because he's Danish. Who knows?

    Several sites now reporting that we will sign De Guzman on a season long loan with an option to buy at aprox. €7 million at the end of the season.

    Shrewd (if true).

    More spurious Internet rumours for you;

    3 swans signings predicted next week - de Guzman, Chico, Jeffrey Bruma (Chelsea)

    Also wild rumours concerning us and Joel Obi (Inter Milan) and Carlos Vela (Arsenal)

    Someone out there in cyber land claims that Laudrup is currently trying to persuade Mourinho to loan him 'wonder kid' winger Jese Rodriguez.

    Billed as Ronaldo's replacement he replaced Christiano from the bench last year for two 10-15 minute cameos.
    It is thought Mourinho would like to loan him out for regular first team football this season.

    Would be nice.

    The Spurs just signed central defender ( can play just about anywhere though ) Vertonghen for 9 million from Ajax .... just wondering what the repercussions might be on the Caulker scene toward us .

    Could be the clincher in getting him back on loan, Breezy.

    I think the Caulker deal is dead for us now, he was part of Brenden Rodgers era here and im thinking that Laudrup will probably want to choose his own players.
    It is of course possible that ML has seen video footage of Stephen Caulker and likes what he sees but i think Caulker is now anxious to stake 1st team football at Spurs anyway.

    It will be very intresting to see who our manager rates, the likes of Lita,Moore,Orlandi,Gower,Monk,Tate and others have question marks over them, most managers here have tended to rate Mark Gower and Orlandi, will be fun to see which way Laudrup goes.
    The strength of Laudrups signings are going to be crucial this season, hopefully his contacts are first class and his eye for a player equally as good,this is the most critical area fot the Swans !!

    This has been doing the rounds for a while, Breezy. Would be a decent signing I think but he doesn't actually score that many. Bit like Dyer and Sinclair <laugh> That said, I think he'll be a very useful addition if he comes here. He's certainly got pace.

    Read about Abdomah earlier. I don't think we'll sign him tbh but could be wrong. The Real Madrid guy sounds very exciting. Please be true!!!!

    Excited about all three to be honest, especially the two coming from Spain (if it happens). Looks like De Guzman won't want to play lower division football so if Villareal don't go back up we might be in for him properly next year. In the meantime we can see how he shapes up in the Prem and he gets some game time. Everyone's a winner. <ok>
