Well it's a trend that I am enjoying and funny enough don't feel the need to defend.

Where as you on the other hand!

Ah... the old "you wouldn't talk about it if you didn't mind it" routine. A handy tool in every wum's toolbox. Not that common for moderators though, props. <ok>

That's true, but you just handed me one so it's a shame not to use it.

    Thanks <ok>

The fact remains that, unlike Spurs, Arsenal are, and have been for some time, one of Europe's top 20 highest earning clubs. Of those 20, only one has gone longer without a trophy! Why could that be do you think?

  7. AF's biggest draw was the fact that they could bride top players to join them and stay with them, and that is the only reason AFC has out-performed the mighty Spurs over the last decade. But, what we are seeing now, is AFC's top players (not its canon-fodder players) deciding that the money simply is not good enough anymore, because it has failed to buy AFC any glory. That has to come down to the poor management of Whinger. I know that all Gooners and their dogs revere Whinger as some great guru, but apart from the so-called "invincibles" (which was a team comprising mainly players that Whinger had inherited), he has done absolutely nothing or any real note. He is your problem, and until you get rid of him, you will continue to stagnate.

Yes, it is just possible that AFC will manage to cling on to a top 5 spot next season, but it is looking more and more unlikely.

In that squad, only Parlour and Keown was players that Wenger did not bring into the club or team. The starting eleven, was all Wenger players. Also, towards the end of the season, Wenger kept bringing on Keown as a sub in order for him to get a medal.

  9. Okay, Whinger has put together one team that has done something of note. 8 years later, you've won nothing, despite all the revenue you've had coming in, and the exorbitant wages you bribe your players with.

It's hardly something to be proud of, is it?

<doh> I actually cant believe the idiocy of this comment, your club has had every chance to make the Champs league and have failed every single time aside from one case, you make it sound like the champions league is given to us when the facts are that we earned that place. The facts are that we have spend far less than you in the last few seasons and still maintained our dominance over you in terms of league positions. And the whole selling club insult is a bit rich especially when you have lost your best players over the years to bigger clubs (Sol, Carrick, Berba) are three recent examples
