    I would say not.
Three fouls three cautions against eight fouls and one caution. Two of our cautions were for dissent so what was happening a sightless referee again?

Northolt I am considering putting you on the ignore list as my wife and daughter see these threads and they do not need to see your attempts at humour.

I think we were unlucky not to win tonight.

First goal was dreadful......Eustace caught on the ball and Doyley forces Vokes wide but it still managed to bobble into the net......

For most of the game it was even.......but Watford had a great spell in the trailing part of the 1st half....the first goal was admittedly pretty lucky.....Graham scored but honestly I thought he wasn't that great tonight.

The second goal was as good as I've seen from Watford....we were trapped by our own corner flag and it was skill after skill after skill right up to Graham who crossed for a composed Cowie to send home a magnificent goal.....I'd say it should be goal of the year!

The second half was end to end stuff.....but for me there were three defining factors.

-Doyley crosses for Deeney who heads across the ball for Graham to get ANYTHING on.....but he misses it. He looked a bit too cute...he should've just dived in and killed the game.
-The officials. I think Norwich may have some of their own complaints but second half the officials were shockingly in their favour. So many fouls were committed against us yet not only was there a lack of bookings (for Norwich, at least)....the fouls weren't even given!
-I don't have any idea at all but we didn't look very happy about Norwich's 2nd goal.....from the other side of the pitch it looked like Holt was backing into our defender and the goal resulted from that.....but I can't be sure.

After the goal we still had chances....but Norwich pushed up a bit more and instead of going for a positive substitution such as sticking Buckley on.....we stuck on Wiemann and for me he didn't have the physical presence to have an impact when we were struggling for possession.

I'd say a draw was fair.....but Graham should've killed the game and put us 5 points away from the play offs.

It was a fair result, but their second goal should never have happened. The free kick was a joke, the ref was crap, he blew the whistle when there were no fouls, and didn't blow when the fouls were blatent. Bizarre performance. The linesman was asleep most of the time. Danny was rugby tackled right under his nose and he just ignored it...just another poor officials show, but we played very well, completely disagree with Tommy Mooney who said we showed not much skill today. And Doyley nearly scored! Such a shame about the sitter, not sure how DG missed that..but the back four were outstanding today, aside from the first goal.

One thing i don't get. From the beginning of the second half we sat so deep, inviting them to equalise until they did. How could we have defended for 45 minutes? Rarely did we push forward, until they scored, and then we finally started running up the pitch.

Great performances again from 'Tiny' Taylor and Mariappa, and good to see Doyley and Hodson have a good game. Not sure why Malky bothered to put Drinkwater on though!

And great to see Norwich play hoofball, while we tried to keep passing :).

All in all, a 'good day at the office', just a shame we couldn't take all three points, but they're a strong side, and it's a good result...imho. football-emoticons-4.gif

Lots of good points but ultimately disappointing. Comedy first goal, then we were really very good for the rest of the first half. Shocking ref (yet again)
Biggest question - Drinkwater on again!!!!! Drinkwater absolutely shocking - again!!!! I don't know what the deal with Sir Alec is that Malky has to put him on , but I think we deserver Berbatov at the very least for next season!

harrow, I'd sign him in a player plus cash deal for DG, but he's too lazy for the Championship!

Thought Taylor was immense tonight.Hope we can keep our experienced players for next season. Lee Hodson is much more confident now too.
