OT- Chubby Brown.... Where do you stand?

Personally I like his humour, although I admit sometimes I laugh at him rather than with him.

The PC brigade are a pest though.

 

Too much of Chubby isn't a good thing.

Liked him when I first saw him but went off him a bit as time went on.

Got a DVD of his that has only been played once.

 

I don't find it particularly offensive, I just don't find it funny...If I wanted to hear a fat smog talking about his lass's smelly fanny I'd go through to Boro and attend a PTA meeting!

Thought he was funny when I first saw him, but then realise he just does the same act and the same jokes over and over. so not really that good a comic.

But do agree what he's saying about the PC brigade

 

A joke is a joke. Why make any more of it than it really is. The PC brigade are just a bunch of white hippies who get offended over the slightest thing. They need to get over themselves.

 

Just going to echo the sentiments of everyone else.

He's like that bloke you know down the pub who fancies himself as a funnyman. You may laugh the first time he tells you a smutty joke but when he keeps repeating it throughout the night you quickly get bored and edge away.

Very old school and limited.

 

Some of it is funny, most of it I find a bit tedious. Not offended by it at all and he is 100% correct about the PC brigade. People need to learn to distinguish between humour and hatred. Crossing a few lines when telling a joke is no big deal.

 

I'm off to see Frankie Boyle in the Toon and he is similar in style but a bit more raw at times.

 

Frankie Boyle is top class. Sick but funny.

Chubby Brown as a comedian is 'Old Hat' now, but Political Correctness is getting out of control.

 

I'm offended by some things but I recognise everyones right to freedom of speech, and I don't campaign to get them banned.

 

I don't beleive Chubby Brown has ever been censored nor has anyone suggested he should be.

People have said they hugely disapprove of his act. Some venues decline to book him. Very few people deny his right to tell offensive, unfunny jokes.

 

I don't find him funny, not because he's offensive, i just don't think he's funny.

I went to see Frankie Boyle last year, he was quality!
