Hate to say it, but the Sa\int's are right on this one, the football league have said that we cannot sign any new players until they are happy that we have made substancial progress in lowering our wage bill. Currently out are: Ashdown, Rocha, Benjani, Ward, Pearce, Henderson, but it is just not enough for them yet. Trevor Birch has confrimed that the football league have said NO TRANSFERS IN for the time being, but that he is hopefull this will change once Mokoena, Ben Haim, Kanu and Lawrence all go.
