To an extent you are right. As an experienced strength and conditioning coach it amazes me that Koscielney is playing as a centreback. He does not have the right physique for the job.


Also those who are claiming he is the 'best defender in the league' whilst completely ignoring our terrible goals conceded ratio are ****ing insaine. He's not entirely to blame but he plays a large part (as our most capped defender). Being Good on the ball and making a great 'recovery tackle' does NOT make you a good defender. Stopping the opposition from scoring is generally the key here.

 

If we had beaten Man Utd at OT that year we would have won the league. Think about that.
