    I'd have young Jack.

Went for Vermaelen. Signed a new contract recently and is always a very committed player on the pitch and also very vocal. Arteta for vice-captain.

Originally, I thought Vermaelen for captain and Jack as vice, but I am not even sure that Vermaelen would always make my starting XI though.

Verm should get it as he is currently vice captain I believe.

I also had that concern, because TV still has some flaws in his game, but as he gets older I am hoping that he starts to iron out those flaws, his main flaw is him being to hasty to trying to always get in front of the attacker (QPR away).

Probably Vermaelen cos he's about the only vocal player on the pitch. Wilshere would do a job I reckon though

Forget the safety option, give it to young Jack. The man has gone through the Arsenal ranks, he is passionate, he is one of our best players and most importantly, will stay with us for the next 3-4 years at least!

    Arteta for me.
He seems to be well liked and most important of all, well-respected

I said in the other thread the reason I wouldn't give it to Verm is because I'm hoping our CB selection will get better and he won't be a starter.

    So Arteta Captain, Sagna VC.
