With you lot cheering for us! <laugh>

Arsenal would have destroyed us sooner with the pace in their team then as opposed to us holding out until the 40th odd min against Utd.

    Evening geet <ok>

I've watched them all and apart from the Portland Rd, Notting Hill one, i've known the areas spoken about.A great series.
I liked the Housing policy of the old Bermondsey Council whereby you only got a council house/flat if you had a connection to the area, bought back memories on when me and my mates all tried to get a flat from Lewisham Council not long after leaving school, the fact that we were local, single with no dependants and working meant that we were well and truely bottom of the list.
While most of us were forced to either buy or rent from a private landlord one of my mates turned up at the pub one night asking us to help him move into his new flat, handy that most of his family lived in Bermondsey.

Anyway regarding cups,we won The Senior West Riding Cup more times than i can recall in the 60s/70`s so there! We had stiff opposition, the likes of Halifax Town,Bradford City and Huddersfield Town.Put that in your cockney pipe and smoke it<nahnah>
