Been there as a squaddie on the twelfth in the 70's , never understood you people and guess I never will. What a way to lead your lives, one big round of hatred and bitterness, you deserve each other.
And therein lies the problem. The British government sent poorly educated troops to Ireland who had no idea what they were here for. I am glad that at least now you can admit that. You see, you cannot paint yourself as an honest broker in this situation when a) you don't understand it and 2) don't appreciate that you were a part of the mechanism that created the problem.
