As Spurs Boss. How do you feel? What do you expect from him? He's definitely a good Manager. If he can keep the players in check he could do very well. He has a solid foundation to build upon, but probably not much money, and a desperate shortage of centre-backs.
Even though he ****ed up at the Chavs i believe he's a good coach.I just hope he doesn't prove it at the Spuds https://twitter.com/GoonerGal93/status/220144558665760769/photo/1
He won't do well, the players that Harry Redknapp has left behind excel on being praised, and being told that they are the better team, blah blah blah. AvB doesn't work like that. He'll lose his players, not in a rebellious, but they will become disinterested, and they won't put in the shifts that they did under Redknapp.
That's why he should be viewed as a long term solution. He should be able to bring in his own players and stamp his own philosophy on the team. What's the point of judging him on just one season? The players failed under Redknapp, so why should he be stuck with them? At the end of the day, the players should shoulder a large portion of the blame for losing 3rd place. We were able to claw back a massive point gap and beat Spurs to 3rd. Redknapp can only be blamed for so much, the plsyers are the ones who ultimately flopped on the pitch.
Yes, but you think Daniel Levy is going to sit back and them slip all the way down the table? I don't think he will, if they aren't amongst the top 5 teams come February, he'll be gone.
Can't believe I've read some of their fans now saying their first 5 games are easy and Man U will be their first real test. They never learn.
That would be a big mistake. But i think he will do better at Spurs than Chelsea. For one thing, he won't have the same trouble making senior players to work with at Spurs and secondly, he won't have Abe breathing down his back constantly. What is clear is next season will be even more tougher and competitive than this season. Man U, Chelsea and of course us, have all strengthened this transfer window, and i predict a few more signings from all these clubs, plus maybe Man City. Though in all fairness, Man City already have a good enough squad.
SOME never learn....most are like me mate.....sobbing at the pointlessness of it all.... I ****ING HATE FOOTBALL
well I hope he's not going to continue the bizarre squats he was doing.....it looked like he was doing a ****. Mind you doing that at the Bridge or WHL is fair enough I suppose.
No, I am not. Harry Redknapp is not renowned for his footballing managerial abilities, he is a motivator.
