Its global warming, the UK is one of the few places that will get colder due to the ice melting and the colder water coming down to surround the island.

Weather is weather. What has changed is the population has increased massively all over the world and the impact of the weather is greater as a result. 'Climate Change' is a convenient excuse to introduce new taxes to waste on crap like windfarms which are hugely inefficient in relation to their cost, and in high winds they don't work!...

Not this. Flyer, when Global Warming first came on the radar, they said Britain would warm-up year on year and become like N. Africa. Following ten years of **** weather they then started using what you said. It's a scam buddy. Or as someone else would say.... No truth.

Every bit this folks, Global warming is the new nuclear arms threat. Climate change is a natural cyclonic occurence that governments will use to help empty your pockets.

Windfarms(?) don't seem to do too well in light winds or no wind either!!

Plenty of them around me and still more often than not.

Theyve always said it as far as I can remember as its due to the ice melting.

Global warming is a fact, its happening. You cant say the weather now is as normal as it was 10 or 20 years ago.

Having played cricket and golf regularly in my younger years I can assure you that we had crap summers more often than good ones. We had a run of better summers in the 90s in particular but they have now given way to the 'normal' mixed bag we have had recently. Last year was exceptionally dry, this year is exceptionally wet, it happens...

They have deliberately fixed the data to meet their arguments. There was the infamous "hockey stick" graph which virtually said that we'd be living in a desert in 50 years' time. This has been totally discredited, as have many global warming scientists who have forcified evidence to win their argument.
This wet summer is all due to the jet stream, which has a kink in it, making it curl down beneath the English south coast. It should be up above Scotland at this time of the year. The warm, dry weather is to the south of the jet stream and the low pressure weather fronts are to the north of it.
These things are all cyclical. Long before man was contributing to any heating affect, the polar ice had melted sufficiently to allow explorers to paddle almost to the north pole. It all froze again. It's not long since we had a mini ice age, with the Thames in London frozen over with market stalls being erected on the frozen surface.
In some places the ice is now getting thicker year on year and every year the global warming warnings are being re-hashed. It's bollocks!! It's happened before and will happen again!

The earth is warming, thats a fact. As is the wilder weather.

I never said it was man made as that cannot be proven but the fact that the earth is warming up has been proven and anyone who thinks it isnt is deluded.

Somewhat true....but actually if you look at the NASA GISS Global Land-Ocean Temperature Index over the last 30 years the global temperature has only gone up by about 0.4 of a degree which makes little to no difference.....the sun is also going through its 200 year cycle of low luminosity, thus the earth with actually start to get colder as the energy levels trapped in our oceans decline.

Anyone who blames this weather on Global warming is falling into the Goverment Global Warming propaganda, so that we pay more tax on fuel and other energy to stop the world from ending.

If we have a lovely summer next and above average temperatures, then people will blame that on global warming as well.
