more than a couple of references (seemingly sensible) from rumours that he's turned down a deal with posh and is on his way to us.
PNE fan friend of mine said he's easily championship quality. big strong unit, loves getting stuck in and bossing things.

 

I think he's decent as well, doesn't want to play for the manager we have at the moment which is a pity because he gives us a bit of quality, will do well for you if he does sign

 

I don't know anything about him, but some good reports since he's been linked.

Nice to know he's rated by PNE fans, so let's see if he does join up.

 

If he does join up I guess that rules out Tunnicliffe - especially if Olofinjana is getting a chance.

 

Olofinjana won't be getting a chance, just a ****ty article from the HDM.

 

Reading into it I realise it's based upon his comments that "everyone has a clean slate" or something along those lines - but I wouldn't necessarily rule out the possibility.

 

It was mentioned by Joyce I think that Tuncliffe would be getting some first team opportunity with Manu this season so I think Coutts is next on the list and fully expect him to sign next week.

 

Surely it depends how he performs on their pre season tournament but I could see both Coutts and Tunnicliffe coming in. I know we already have Cairney, Evans, McKenna, Koren & Olofinjana but I wouldn't be suprised if the latter two leave and possibly Cainrey on loan as well.

I dont know about anyone else but Im pleasently surprised with being linked to players such as this. When we got Bruce part of me worried he would only go for 'players he's heard of', you know Premier League ****e quality types with nothing to prove and after a last big payday. Heskey obviously fits into this category but I would just like to say Im very much pro signing Emile, I just wouldnt want a full team of them. We need some nous, experience and people who have seen it all but we also need some ambitious types who have a point to prove a la Chester.

It's all about the mix innit? Good stuff.
