Mmmmmm a midfield of Samba, Ale & Tabs plus one other, Derry or (wisper it) Barton or Mackie or Traore would be worth watching
Really Arsenal...must have been at home because he was like a rabbit in the headlights away...pretty much same at Spuds... 2 good games a season or 16 mill from PSG.. i know what id have done !!! No one can deny he was a flop last year...even the most hard core supporters...can they ?!
Certainly, Fulham away was a low spot in his season, but when Mark Hughes brought him back into the team, he displayed grit & determination, especially in defensive duties and was often our sole source of creativity on the field - he is a potential game changer and match winner, especially when playing alongside players like Cissé, Diakite and Faurlin.
He was one of our best players by the end of the season and contiued to improve I thought. Strikes me you don't really rate him.
I deny it! In many games including at the start of the season when he rattled the aluminium more times than you can count on both hands, plus in many performances from when he came back into the side in December, he was one of our best players. There was only the period in October and when Colin subsequently left him out November, that he wasn't performing as he should be.
Taarabt was by no means a flop last year. He began slowly and rightly so was dropped. He was poor in the first half of the season. But after Hughes came him, he gave him a new lease of life and he made a dramatic improvement. His performances at times were brilliant.

It wasn't a vintage season for Adel last year by any means. Think there were far more flops in the side to point the finger at before you get to Adel. Joey didn't exactly look keen on trying to help develop him and get the best out of him either.
and hes not good enough? my arse is he not good enough. that video shows exactly what he can do, and most of that footage was in the PL. Players like him make the entrance fee worth the money, and its not all about goals. Some of the creative play in that video is awsome. Tie that lad down to a 4 year deal. Thanks for that video, really reminds us just how good he can be!
Sorry col..but i do rate Tarbs as a fantastic player.my concern has always been and is..can he step up...? Sahll i pos t vids of other established players.ala rooney gigggs et al hitting the posts? how about nobody's hitting the posts....? On the record ..Tarbs is a god player....whether he becomes a great is yet to be proven,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,? Judo..Bull- he was a flop lastyear when considered what most Pro Tarbs" fans thought he would do.... the size of the goal doesnt change for any player, so hitting the bar aint good enough for the prem.....fulll stop... Loved watching T in the championship..but he aint stepped uo yet.....has he ????!!

He has since Hughes took over but you cant expect him to win most games on his own in the PL like he did when we won the title. Virtually everyone was happy with his last couple of months of play.
So...m y appologies for another Adel thread; but i have a major problem that hasnt beenn addressed yet and its my duty to bring it to your attention (as the Tarbs hater i am)... So Tarbs has had a few great seasons in the Championship...sao my question is this to all the Tarbs lovers out there..... There are hundreds of posts,, ids etc of Tarbs doing well when playing ing the Champioship...... How many are tere with him doing it in the Premiersship?.....Lets try pre- November...? My guess is Zero...... Let me know ; Sorry judo; but he just aint cut it.....YET? has he?
