To all you optimistic QPR lovers, I believe 13th place finish in the prem will be a good stepping stone to long term success, thoughts
Strangely enough, the bookies agree with you. Wigan in the mix over West Ham. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation/
that is so bizzare - i was thinking where i want us to finish next season (being realistic !!) lower mid table is superb - not the bottom six dog fight - so i dont go any greyer or lose more hair !!! also a realistic progression to move forwards as a club - going onwards and upwards.............. i think MH is slowly putting (team wise) very solid foundations down - with the view of other players joining........... Bring on the next season ) U'RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR'S
13 is my lucky number so I'll happily take that, although I get the feeling MH will be aiming higher...
Given that there is unlikely to be a massive difference in points between 8th and 14th. I think 13th would be decent, a small bit of luck and we could end up significantly higher.
13th is where we should finish, Ill be happy being 6-8 points clear of the relegation zone after xmas and delighted if we sneak into the top half.
Agree with the bottom three. Exactly how i had it when i did the 'working outs'. I would put us higher though. I really believe we will finish either 10/11/12. MH and team QPR don't say they want top 10 unless they know the players coming in. Last season we had problems off the field/new owners/Tango & Cash/new manager/players and it affected our season. This year we will be ready with a top team behind the scenes. Teams like WBA/Fulham/Norwich/Swans/Villa/L'pool are the ones that mirror us from last season, so expect them have the indifferent season. The teams coming up are really not very good. For me West Ham will be ok due to bigSam. Saints although i like them will struggle and will go down. 'Relegation Reading' will be the 'Wolves' of last season. Just not good enough. My final place for relegation goes to Norwich. Losing PL and GH are huge losses and although i like CH as manager, they won't have that same togetherness that workedd for them in the past.
As long as we are comfortably away from the bottom 3 all season that will do me for starters and then push on from there
Well.....all depends who we get in and whether Tarrabt stays and Faurlin is fit. The team we have now will struggle again!
