Right guys probably won't get write ups done but here are my selections for tomorrow 2.15 Newcastle Maarek 9/2 3.20 Newcastle Il De Re 5/1 4.35 Windsor Lutine Bell 8/1 NB 5.05 Windsor Robin Hoods Bay 9/2 NAP 5.15 Newmarket Love Your Looks 8/1 5.55 Curragh Luisant 14/1 I also put up 3.30 Windsor Sholaan 6/4 last time and although I fully expect him to follow up again he's too short for me upped 12lb on better ground and at a unique track
We have had a good breeze since yesterday morning that is drying everything out all the time here in Newcastle but it will stay heavy ground. Need a low drawn stayer in the plate i think. If anyone finds the heavy ground liker's at Gosforth get them up for us.
4.15 Diman Waters - Best draw, course form, running well at present and has gone close off higher in the past. I like it a lot, and its my only bet of the day
Maybe because it's the stables seemingly second choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But just in case ...................... a tiny investment
Has never bothered me with O'Brien Reebok . I certainly don't mind taking on Joseph's pick today. Learn is a high class horse and travelled so well for a long way on his comeback. Will have come on for that outing
Agreed. I just find it a bit off-putting presuming that we know better than the connections I couldn't believe the 5-1 about Ile De Re this morning so helped meself to a bit of that. A confirmed mud lover, class horse with a trainer , who knows how to win these distance events. I hear the stats about winnners generally being below 8-11 in this race, poor record of Chester Cup winners etc. but you know what? Horses don't read stats, and Ile De Re will do for me
Reebok - I do WAS is all I will say to Joseph if he dares question me . Ile De Re has a massive chance - good luck . Might still go - not sure yet mind
Hello everyone Don't get to come on here very often at all. My fancies... In the 2:30 at Newmarket a 2yr old by Mich Channon runs here after a very nice debut has some decent entries and can pick up another win here in the form of Sandreamer. Over at Chester in the 2:40 the unexposed Gabrial The Hero runs here after progressing over each run he's had, drop backs to 12 furlongs having just failed to score over 14 last time out, drop back to this trip will suit and 3/1 is a great price. Heading to HQ and in the Maiden Estifzaaz is a very nice sort nice pedigree been training very well, the cecil horse been working well to but won't be knocked about and will show signs of greeness on the track. Good Luck
Heard good things from a member of the bin suroor camp about Inaad 4.05 Newmarket It is very well bred however the race looks extremely warm with any number of potential good horses in there so i dont think its one to go too heavily in but Inaad will do for me. Also, over in ireland im going to be having a bet on Bubbly Bellini 5.55 Curragh I was in the bookies when it had its last run when it won on the bridle, in its hat trick bid when it was already 16lbs higher than the first of its wins. Up another 12lbs and in a better race but i dont think he has finished improving yet judging on the ease that he brushed aside the opposition last time. He has just snuck in at the bottom of the weights and is proven on the soft ground and i think he could go very close here
Morning All - Cats as per the maiden u mentioned above I see the Cecil horse is 9/4 fav with 365 - strange as everyone knows Cecils 2yo normally come on for the run ????? Doing well on the gallops perhaps as he had a 2yo yesterday that started off at 20/1.
5.15 Newmarket - TUSCANIA 16/1 Really like the look of Tuscania on her first start for Lucy Wadham this afternoon. Previously with Sir Michael Stoute this 4yo showed she had plenty of ability on numerous occasions last season which would suggest her current mark of 85 isn't beyond her. Brett Doyle is an interesting jockey booking and I will be disappointed if she can't at least get a place today.
Northumberland plate - Gulf of Naples. The king has spoken on monring Line and the money's down. And here's a blast from the past for the old 606ers - read the comments from himself as they are absolute quality. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/philmcnulty/2012/06/balotelli_can_lead_italy_to_eu.html
Yes, Like I mentioned been doing well on the gallops at Warren Hill but won't be knocked about too much, i.e. pushed all out / whipped unnecessarily etc hence when he may appear to be green and like you say will come on for the run, whereas I am told the Hills / Hamdan horse is very nice. !
