Loving to see those germans lose. They were defending like muppets on the first half and and they werent up to their reputations in any stage.. Italians were very good. Woy Hodgsons boys didn't lose to bad team. It was much more entertaining match than yesterdays bore. Hope Italy wins the whole tournament.

Great result. For all the talk about the Germans at every tournament, they haven't won anything since 96. They can be great as a unit, but individually just an average bunch of players. No truly world class player. They'll humble the **** sides but hit the wall against the good ones.

Yeah it's great to see an exciting and honest German side lose to an Italian side tainted by the whiff of match fixing, the decent thing would have been for the Italian FA to have withdrawn from the tournament as an example that match fixing doesn't win.

I know who I want to win.

999 And if my second team win again, who has got it right? Espana has won the last 2 major trophies so the tippy tappy cant be all bad.

Comparing Espana to Swansea is a joke.

i have to admit that after tonight Italy is no push over. Hopefully on Sunday the mad Italian will implode.

Oh, so this explains why all the ground staff at Frankfurt Airport are so surly this morning........My German colleagues had a bad feeling about this given their record, and my Italian colleagues are amazed to have got to the semis. I'll back them against Spain, Pirlo standout player of the tournament for me, and Balotelli capable of anything.

    Never saw that coming.

Now, if only the Italians can keep the real Balotelli drugged and locked in the cupboard until Monday, whilst his 'good' clone does the business on the pitch...

Fair play to the Italians as they new how to score. Was a big mistake to bring 3 new players into the game, all of them off form at the moment. Löw´s team tried hard to score but was unlucky in the beginning of both halfs - well, a good Italian team anyway.

If Buffon's buffoonery at the start of the game had cost them a goal, it would have probably been so, so different.

If, if, if, if.....Yes if Buffoons buffoonery had cost them a goal the game have probably been different but then again if (again) italy would have been little more careful with their numerous counter attacks on the second half it would have been 7-1 on the scoreboard after 90 min.....

Forza Italia! Pirlo! Balo! Loco! Stylo! Bye Deucho!

Best game I seen this tournament last night. Pirlo was immense - reminded me of the good old central midfield players that dictated a game without breaking sweat, pin - point passing, exquisite control making it look like his oppenents were drunk on ice, and seeing where space was to drop a ball into in an instant.

I hope and think Italy will be too good for Spain.
