OT - Have any of you seen any snakes around Northern England?

    I know there are some snakes in England. Adders, Grass snakes maybe. But I have never in my life seen a wild snake, only ones in Zoos or at shows and stuff.

    I doubt they'd be able to live in the Scottish climate.

    I suppose the only place they could possibly be able to live is in the Sussex areas that get the best of the sun, and are in an environment that suits wildlife in some areas. London would be good temperature, but it's too full of noise and cities.

    Sorry that this is my 3rd off topic article of the day, the forum is slow.

    Saw quite a few adders in Alwinton when I was camping there as a kid.

    Funnily enough, the place where I saw the adder's, Alwinton, had a cottage (that had the skins of adders hanging on the gates and the railings, to supposedly scare the adders off) and a post office at the time I was there, and while I was in London I actually met a girl that lived in the cottage. Small world.
