Was at the IOW 2012 festival to see the boss and he didn't disappoint. Some other acts were great but the boss rocked.

Has to be said Aber, it was fantastic. Haven't been to a festival in 25 years! So rolled back the years. Didn't get over to the island until Saturday and missed Tom Petty and the Stranglers, gutted but it didn't stop me having a great time. Never did Glasto but never say never
a mellow little tune by sandy, who lives on through the music
taff good man it`s liberating dude and if you liked the isle gig then you`ll love glastonbury......yep it has sold out in terms big money but hey h we dont need 2 see that if you dont want old glasto is still hidden away in all its mellow glory .......greenman festival in brecon is really good for the family....no major names but very clean and very peaceful
Aber, is the Greenman fest the jazz fest? Went to a jazz fest around 89-90 and had a great time. Chatting with a couple of stoners and they were real cool even when we pretended to be the old bill. Had a cracking afternoon with the lads.
no not the jazz dude>>>.thats changed a bit since you been there people like me aint no longer seen as ok on the streets anymore the oldbill are being theyre usual stupid selves and sticking 2 laws of england rather than theyre own judgement on fellow welshmen having a good time. the greenman is more crickhowell(spelling).....i think its on some lords(cheeckycunt) land like glan usk or something like that.....sugar loaf mountain is the backdrop for the main stage....its clean and very friendly.
Aber, you're right about Glastonbury. Still a great experience but not the same as it used to be (admittedly I haven't been for a while though). I watched a a documentary a few weeks ago about the Shangri-La after hours area... now that looks interesting please log in to view this image Another good one is "Off The Tracks" held next to Donington Park. Again, no big names and a capacity of around 1500 but fk me, what a weekend! Everyone is your friend and some great music.
