Good to see Ronaldo's free kicks are keeping up with his normal form, just to prove us in the Ronaldo vs Messi thread right.
I must be sedated, because I think this match has been really exciting! I have had a long hard day mind, so it might just be my weary eyes playing tricks.
How to be the best in the world at free kicks, by Cristiano Ronaldo: Be dead set on shooting, no matter where the ball is so you get four or five attempts a game. Stand with your legs straight, shoulder width apart. Stare intensely at the goal. Exaggerate your breathing. Take a long, straight run up. Kick the ball however you ****ing like, just from looking so intense and awesome everyone will assume your free kicks are normally amazing. Score one occasionally. (optional) Watch as fans fawn over how AMAZING your free kicks are.
Ronaldo or Messi will never be in the same league as the greatest footballers like Pele,Maradona,George Best,Cruyff,Zidane...They are two great players, but a bit overrated. Wouldn't put them in my top 10 though.
Spain and Greece got one in the Quarter Finals. Still only three red cards as well. I am sure the ref fancies his chances of adding to that.
When will goalkeepers learn that their own team is outnumbered by the opposition in the area in which they kick the dead ball..? Everyone seems happy to give the ball away.
As theres been so little shots on target, you'd think they might do a couple replays when it matters.
