From memory, Saints seem to win away against teams with, at the time, good home records e.g. Sheff Wed, Oldham, Bournemouth & Orient, but then lose at places like Walsall & Tranmere. Rochdale have had some good results at home yet have won less than 50% of their home games. So I think a draw could be the likely outcome tomorrow, although this being the only game I have managed to get to this season I would love to see us putting on a performance and getting another 2-0 win. Hoping we can make them suffer for what they did to us at SMS... go all out Saints and make them look like ****e! make em suffer! come on you Saints, MASSACRE them! PROMOTION!!!!
Im going for a 2-2 draw with our goals coming from Lambert and a late Dickson goal to equalise for us. Have to admit, a point wouldn't be too bad.
I am a bit concerned that we may be subject to some intimidation tonight, just hope our lads keep their cool, and remain discipllned throughout, the last thing we need is any red cards, so I hope the Officials are up to the mark. Best way to silence the detractors is to score a few goals.
I really hope Guly doesn't start on the right. They will tear him to shreds. In any case I would settle for a draw without a doubt.
I have a hunch that Adam will be on the bench again and as in the early season Cherries match he will come on and turn it round for us. We win but not sure whether we scrape in by the single goal or get a double.
Just have to say how brillant it is to see our form for the last 8 games in text. I think we have momentum and belief, so I will go for 1-2 Saints win. COYS
Saints should win tonight. Dale are going to come at us all guns blazing as they hope to get in the play-off positions. If Saints can weather the early storm, we should catch them on the break or with some tactical subs late on. We always play best when teams come out to try and beat us.
Red Stripes right, we are better than any team that come out to play football and attack, a point proved when brighton were to scared to play football at st marys if rochdale play for the win we will win if they play for a draw I fear that will be the case
I hope I'm not going to be regretting this, but a win tonight and automatic promotion should be coming our way. We'd be 3 points and at least 16 goals ahead of Huddersfield with a game in hand. Our 3 home games are, no disrespect, against sides we should beat with relative ease. With those 4 wins, we'd only need 3 from 3 away games to guarantee the automatics, but frankly if Huddersfield win all of their 5 remaining games I'll be amazed. Hope I'm not coming across as cocky, but that's how I see it looking at the maths and remaining fixtures.
1-0 saints tonight i hope anyway, team news is in: 2 changes from saturday, BUTTERFIELD and CHAPLOW out, RICHARDSON and D. STEPHENS in BUTTERFIELD drops to the bench, with CHAPLOW missing out with a slight knock. DAVID CONNOLLY also misses out on the match-day squad. DAVIS RICHARDSON FONTE JAIDI HARDING GULY HAMMOND STEPHENS DICKSON LAMBERT BARNARD Subs: BIALKOWSKI, BUTTERFIELD, SEABORNE, MARTIN, FORTE, LALLANA, GOBERN.
