Oslo. It is a bit too hot so people go to work early and work in the evening (not tonight). We came home from a party about 5.30 the other morning and a bar had just opened up for the workers coffee etc. I resisted the temptation.

Draw a straight line between Malaga and Cordoba and another between Sevlla and Granada and we are where it meets. Tiny village surrounded by olive trees. Pop. about 2500 inc 9 Brits permanent.

Before the tournament i backed Portugal e/w so to get to the final. So Ill be supporting them although Spain on their day are amazing and even not on their day they arent too shabby. I dont mind their tippy tappy football. Its certainly better then watching cant keep the ball England or long ball crap with some teams and its a lot more effective as well. A lot will depend on Ronaldo as I think he has the ability to change any game hence why I backed Portugal in the first place. But I am going for Spain 2-1.

An early Portugese goal would be the antidote...

Depends how Portugal approach it. If Nani and Ronaldo can get at Arbeloa and Alba alone then they've got a real chance. I hope they have a real go and do it to stick two fingers up to the football snobs that think that football is some sort of art form that should be admired rather than a spectacle that should be enjoyed.

Prediction 1-0 to Spain (Alonso pen, 37).

Hope it will be Portugal but still believe that Spain is much stronger as a team. Indeed their football is very boring but you cannot stop them passing and passing and passing the ball. Hopefully the Portugese will get in front so we will have some fun tonight by watching an attractive game.

    Portugal - Spain 2 - 1

Another snoozefest? Hope not. Hopefully Portgual will ask more questions than France did. I had a final with Portugal and Germany before the tournament, nothing much has changed my mind so far.

Prediction tonight: Spain 0 - 2 Portugal (Moutinho & Ronaldo).

Just like the ManUre fans who took in-play odds of 1/33 on for a ManUre title win in the 90th minute, some serious losses that day...

The spanish boys know how to play the ball and I do not understand all the negativity against them really. Let´s be fair, they do play decent football and (almost) noone is going to beat them.

They've just described it as fascinating.

    Tactical stalemate then.

Almost, great quick build-up play by Portugal, but they don't seem to be able to cross the ball into the goal area.

One of the worst referees I have seen this tournament.
