This lad gets goals from centre mid (I don't know much about his overall game), which is something we have been lacking but we already have sandro, parker and modric for centre mid so while this may appease some of us, i still think its wrong to be signing players as we will end up with too many players in certain positions that all expect to start, also when we don't have a manager, we don't know what system or style of football will be played. Who targeted this player? does levy watch games and think "he looks handy" and then goes out and buys him? i wonder whos advising Levy on these transfers.
Listen to the Boss hes good at Fantasy league football now to the more serious issue of what this lucrative package contains...Spurfectionist i think you could be right!
dona just remember im your trusted assistant when portugal and italy players go through and I sit and watch you tramp all over my team with the biggest comeback seen since "the steps".
Most probably the transfer will collapse as Spurs do not quite offer enough to finalise the move. A few squid short , I am sorry in being a pessimist but on recent form ?
Why are we allegedly paying £8M when Hoffenheim had agreed to deals with Liverpool and Swansea for £6.8M?
I very much doubt it was 6.8m for us .. Especially as they will know we have more money than Swansea .. I imagine it was the same amount as what you've offered
The offer is to the club and they accepted all three (currently unknown) offers. The transfer fee would have nothing to do with who the player might choose to join.
YEAH! This what Levy did when Hoffenheim told him Sigurdsson was going to Liverpool. please log in to view this image

them Pool fans have become all sour and abusive about Spurs because we may be signing Sig yet they were willing to snatch him from under Swansea's nose and were happy about it trying to tell the Swansea fans that that is how it works in the big league with the big teams.
Question is .... has Levy messed up by restricting Modric's possible transfer fee by several million ? eg If you know someone has to sell a car as they have already got a replacement, the seller usually gets a worse deal as the buyer knows ..... you have to sell because you can't afford to run/keep 2 cars. Levy's cards are already on the table.
Ah but that's different isn't it- Swansea can't fight back (my dads bigger etc). They know Spurs have left them behind in the appeal stakes.
we don't have to sell Modric,so whoever buy's him will have to pay what Spurs ask, which will be high, after a good Euro display
I'm still not sure that Levy should be buying players that any new manager may not like. Unless, of course.....
With, of course, the added bonus of keeping the wheels on, and the music system in, your shiny new car.
