Lots of Tweets on Twitter that Spurs are interested in Sigurdsson. One even says he's rejected Liverpool for Spurs.
It would be an interesting turn of events but I suspect total bollocks in this week of total bollocks news.

I think it is mate, they don't even have a manager at the moment so I don't think anything will be done until one is in place. Sort of like all those players we are linked with before Laudrup came in.

I think Hoffenheim gave him an ultimatum of 30 June to sort it out, so all should be resolved by the end of the week.

The sooner he signs for somebody else the better, I`m getting fed up with this saga going on & on. Let`s concentrate on our team and players who might be coming and going. Not ones who have played their part, but are no longer here.

But it's interesting that he hasn't exactly jumped at Liverpool don't you think? Thought he'd bite their hand off with his mentor going there.

He's not short of a bob or two outside of football so I'd be surprised. If he signs for us it'll shock quite a lot of people, me included. But I still think that as Rodgers was a major influence he would have followed him like a shot ordinarily. Why the delay?

Bored maybe, but I'd still rather sign him than not.

Yes I read that last night on one of the Spurs forums somewhere, though I doubt it is true, with no manager yet in the seat at the Lane!..................... <cheers>

If it does turn out to be true (which I still doubt but the rumours are growing steadily around Europe), one of his reasons for not coming to Swansea was the uncertainty of who will be manager. Surely the same applies to Spurs ?

He was moaning like feck about how Hoffenheim`s managerial merry go round was hampering his progress. Yet he is on the verge of signing for a manager-less club, apparently.

He`s a right fake toss-pot, just like 95% of footballers today.

Supposedly he was at the Spurs training ground on Friday and completed a medical over the weekend (Spurs forum). Seems a bit strange with no manager.

Rodgers is said to be furious with Sigurdsson's decision to join Tottenham after holding extensive talks with the 22-year-old. Good enough for the fakir. He`d probably be a better fit for Spurs anyway, Sigurdsson not Rodgers that is.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2164787/Gylfi-Sigurdsson-set-Tottenham-snubbing-Liverpool.html

It all seems a bit messy to me, but there you go, you take your eight pieces of gold and feck everyone.

If Modric is off it's a no brainer for him surely? Compete with Gerrard for a spot or replace Modric in a team who currently play better football.

    Gylfi snubs brenden..lol ;)

Best move for gylfi is to Spurs, seems he isnt that confident brenden is going to be a success at Liverpool .borini tends to Think the same by the look of it, that is a major blow to rodgers ego,if he cant attract his buddies from chelsea/reading then it Will be a major problem with players he doesnt know.

Looks like its falling down for him before the season Even starts..<laugh>

He is not the messia he is a very naughty boy.. ;)

Would you rather live in Liverpool and make a ton of money or London. No brainer for me.
