Whether we'd want him back depends on the figures. I don't think we want to be paying silly money for anyone. I think the rumours will continue until we sign him or he retires though.
Just seen that Huddersfield have signed Scannell from Palace, that would of been a good signing imo. Agree about Bellamy, i would love to have him back we are crying out for a decent winger but do we really want to spend that much on one player.
Got to be honest guys..Don,t think we are announcing to the world any more about potential signings, pure speculation by the local rag who are looking for headlines.
Not another season of this?!? Third in succession is it not? As much as having him back would be awesome.... I'm not sure
If it happens fine, if not, we'll move on. Bellamy would make a lot of chances for Miller. He would also be good for the development of Mason and Mutch. It'll never happen though. It started as a rumour.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18580552 Unfinished Business at Cardiff - Iwan Roberts. Yes I can see how he does... But I really cannot see us getting him on the cheap this time again!

Then I don't really think we want him. We don't want to be splashing millions out on anyone, do we? Edit: I mean on wages (end edit) Would be great to see him back in a Cardiff shirt though and as pointed out before, good for the yoof. Only thing is the fact that we've heard this much probably means is BS, if it was real would there be a leak? No reason to believe there would be. After all not even the fans leader knew about Mutch
I fully agree with that last statement PontprennauBluebird. It seems far too open and honest for us, so either we're genuinely talking to the 'Pool, or someone has leaked it to take the attention off of something else.
The man is onrecord as saying he doesn't need the money, he is wedged ! The 90K a weekpays for the acadamy he runs in africa. If TG and VT agreed to support tha acamedy he would play for nothing
Is it the press looking for a story? The club with a bluff? A double bluff by the club? Yeah, I don't know either. I can see that Bellers is the type of charasmatic player that our Malaysian backers would love at the club. The home grown boy returning to his roots would probably be a good story out east. His influence from a playing point of view is of course, huge. As far as the money is concerned, VT has already shown that he can make good decisions in that respect, so if we are after him, we can rest assured that due consideration has been given to the finances. I'd love to see him back.
Didn't he take a 50% pay cut when he went to liverpool (and a pay off from man City). I'm sure there was some blurb around the salary thing to that effect. If it does all go to his acadmy and Tan paid the acadamy direct, it takes it off the wage bill and avoids the fair play funding limits. £40k a week could still pay for 2 seasoned pros and a couple of youngsters which would be more beneficial in the long run. Would be nice though!
Good point remote. Though perhaps the short term effect of having him here would nulify the expense. On top of that, his influence on the youngsters, and the rest of the squad for that matter, could have long term benefits. I can't see a downside, but there again, I think there's a fair chance that my own desire to see him back may be at work here.
I don't really think there's such a thing as a fans leader I mean I wasn't offered a vote so it means nothing
It's the 3rd summer running that we're talking about Bellamy! If he comes back then it would be great. if he doesn't then that's great too. Let's not all get hung up on this story when the likelihood is that Liverpool's new manager - who would have loved to have had Bellamy at Swansea - is more than likely to give him more game time next season. Who else are we signing? Let's look around and see who else is available. Then is Craig resigns we can all be elated instead of being deflated because he doesn't.
Nothing wrong with that Cling. I'd be more than happy to see him back. It may be that's the reaction Tan and co are looking for. A win win. Appeasement of the fans and a cracking player to boot.
An anyhwere near fit Bellamy was the player we were missing last season - i.e he can run fast (something which nobody else in our forward line did all year). I couldn't really believe he would come here last time, and he did. I definitely don't believe he will come here now - fingers crossed.
