The Enrique/Tiote/Barton rumors will go on for a few months to come now, i'm just ignoring it

 

Meh, they go some others will replace them such is the nature of life.
I'd like them to stay, but if they go I'm sure we'll find some decent replacements.
Que sera sera and all that.
I just hope we keep the likes of Tiote and Ben Arfa as we can build a team around them.

 

To be fair nowt, we can do about it, all we can do is turn up on matchday and get behind them and hope for the best.

 

This summer could make or break the club for the next 5 years or so. If we sell Tiote, Enrique and Barton as soon as substantial bids come in and don't sign suitable replacements we will go down without a doubt.

But, if we tell the likes of Tiote, Ben Arfa and Enrique we want to build a team around them and sign Barton on a new contract as well as investing about £20 million of the Caroll money on well planned out transfers (I have faith in Graham Carr and his scouting team), one CB and two strikers, we could quite well be pushing for Europe next year and we will have a good depth to our squad with Guthrie, Raylor, Gosling, Shola, Saylor and Best as squad players as well as the likes of Ranger, Ferguson, Kadar and Vuckic coming of age.

Going back to scenario one, if we do get relegated it will be very unlikely we come back up with the ease we did last time, and we could be stuck in the Football League for a while facing possible financial trouble.

 

This, we forget we have Ben Arfa to come back and young Gosling will be like a new signing in the summer, he could prove to be very useful, these tied in with keeping Enrique, Tiote & Barton could well mean we get a top 10 finish easily next season.
