On my way to London and stopped over in Singapore. News a tad hard to come by.
Is the Hulk deal still a goer???
Saw the Italy game last night though, England defended well, but had very little firepower. How come those Italians are collectively such good defenders ?? Terry was top defender for me, but the Italian pattern of defence is really great and all the buggers can play the ball out !!

Not a peep yet CP, it seems to have died down!

As for England, I thought defensively England were pretty darn good. Terry, Cole and Lescott especially. Shame Cole missed the pen though, the haters are having a field day!

Am I the only one who wasn't TOO bothered about last night, just because this year has been made even sweeter by the CL win

Let em. It was primarily in ineffectiveness of the likes of Young and Rooney that led to us losing. If they had performed to their ability then it may not have even gone to pens. Them 2 in particular have had awful tournaments. Lets not blame a left back who was one of our better players over the 4 games and at least had the bottle to step up. Least he hit the target unlike Young as well.

Terry got exposed for pace at times but how many blocks and clearances did he make over the course of the tournament? Led by example once again. The defence and Gerrard can come home heads held high. The rest were ****e.

no you are not, the second ashley cole missed his penalty, the first thought i had was that he buried the one that really mattered.

Ashley Cole didn't miss his penalty, the goalkeeper saved it. The other Cole missed.
